Our Approach
In order to develop the algorithm, ORMAE needed to consider these factors regarding the hospital:
- 16 types of rooms, each with different amenities.
- Rooms that can handle multiple types of requirements.
- Over 200 patients who come in with different arrival times.
The Result
ORMAE's solution to the hospital enabled 10% faster turnaround time using the Branch & Bound algorithm.
